Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve

The Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve is a Chase County treasure that you'll want to check out. It's located about 25 minutes west of Emporia and celebrates the history and the uniqueness of the area.


Emporia Zoo

The Emporia Zoo is situated in the Soden's Grove area, south of town. A great place for your family, you'll find train rides for the kids, baseball fields and picnic areas.
