Montgomery County goes above and beyond the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s standards and offers top-notch education for students of all learning abilities and backgrounds. There are 22 public school districts and more than 170 private schools in Montgomery County, each offering a curriculum that keeps up with the continual changes in education and the different needs of each student. The Montgomery County schools believe in regular evaluations to make sure current curriculums continue to be tailored, effective and results oriented. They also strive to be innovative and cost-effective, as well as go above and beyond just satisfying requirements. Wyndocroft School (PK-8)
Established in the early twentieth century, Wyndcroft believes in excellent academics and happy children. Although they were established ninety years ago, Wyndcroft keeps a current curriculum and the same essential values emphasized by the original founders.
Hill School (9-12)
Hill School is a boarding school with a family like atmosphere. The school was founded in 1851 and was the first school in the country to have students live with faculty in their campus home away from home. The main structure of Hill is no different from similar schools in that there is a neat dress code, seated meals and evening study halls. However, faculty and staff provide personal attention, extra academic help, conversation, and counsel. At Hill School, parents and teachers have a strong partnership in helping educate the students and prepare them for college, careers and life. Teachers and coaches encourage students to take responsibility, do their best, develop leadership skills and make healthy choices. At Hill School there is always dedication shown.
St. Aloysius School (K-8)

St. Aloysius School was opened in 1912 and has been an accredited member of the Middle States Association since June 1982. The primary purpose is to educate the whole child spiritually, mentally, scholastically, and emotionally. Moral values are an integral part of everyday teaching. School enrollment is approximately 410 students per year and is open to all regardless of race, color or creed. St Al's serves students in grades K-8 and from six school districts. Busing is provided to and from these Districts. St. Aloysius is part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and operates locally under the guidance and direction of the pastor and principal.
Oak Lane Day School (PK-6)
Founded in 1916 under a different name, Oak Lane Day School was created by a group of parents and educators interested in Progressive Education movement. The idea of individualized education to serve a diverse group of students shaped what Oak Lane Day School has become today. The school strongly focuses on the arts and music in its educational practices. In the 1960’s, Oak Lane was renamed, became an independent school, and moved to its current location. Today, Oak Lane Day School is accredited by the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools, and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools and the Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools. The school itself is located in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania and serves the suburban areas of Whitemarsh, Plymouth, Norriton, Norristown, Abington, North Wales, Montgomery and many others.

Montgomery County Community College
Montgomery County Community College was founded in 1964 and prides itself on innovation. The college has grown along with the needs of the county and now offers 82 associate degree/certificate programs in 48 areas of study, including eight complete degrees offered entirely online, and specialized workforce development and continuing education programs. The College has two conveniently located campuses in Blue Bell and Pottstown, with additional learning centers in Willow Grove, Lansdale, Conshohocken, and Norristown, as well as an extensive array of e-Learning options. Montgomery County Community College is ranked first in the nation by the Center for Digital Education for its use of technology.
